The Art Behind the Craft

The Deadly Art of Burning Lichtenberg Figures
This bowl is crafted using a fascinating and relatively new woodworking technique. Turned and Burned creates intricate fractal patterns on the wood by applying 2000 volts of electricity across its surface.

These burned channels are then filled with glow-in-the-dark epoxy resin, adding a striking and unique visual element.

• Glow feature: The epoxy resin requires charging in sunlight or UV light to achieve its luminous glow.

Each piece is a testament to the artistry and innovation of Turned and Burned, blending traditional woodworking with cutting-edge techniques.
