Reneé Royal is an artist based in the tranquil North Georgia Mountains, where she creates vibrant paintings inspired by the untamed beauty of the American wilderness.
Originally from a small town in southern Maine, Reneé has been pursuing her passion for art since childhood, eventually earning her BFA from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Her creative journey was deeply influenced by her time exploring the vast, rugged landscapes of the Pacific Northwest after moving there in 2015.
Today, those experiences—from the quiet contemplation of nature to road-tripping with her family—are channeled in her cozy home studio. Reneé translates the raw beauty of her surroundings into bold, imaginative color, bringing the vibrancy she feels in the wild into every canvas. Through her art, she seeks to ignite a passion for the wilderness in others, inviting viewers to share in the allure of exploration and natural discovery. Reneé now creates fine art full-time, paints murals in her community, and also pursues photography.
